A drum screener is used for the preliminary sifting of the material intended for production, coarse pollutants such as stones, pieces of plants, strings or wire, etc. It is designed for working with loose materials such as grains, pulses and oilseeds as well as with raw materials for the production of compound feeds.
The material in the device is sifted using a rotary sieve driven by a geared motor. In special versions, fine-mesh sieves are used; their task is to separate dust fractions between macro scales and mills.
Typically, a drum screener is available in a version painted in RAL1015. Other versions are available after consultations, at special request.
